Midwife Services in Spokane, WA

Whole-Person Pregnancy and Postpartum Care

Pregnancy isn’t just about growing a baby.

It’s about growing you, too.
Your strength. Your intuition. Your confidence.

Your identity as a mother.

At The Catching House, midwifery care is more than just checking boxes and measuring bellies.

It’s about building a trusted relationship that honors your values, your voice, and your vision for birth.

From the first trimester through the sacred (and sleep-deprived) postpartum season.

Whether you’re planning an out-of-hospital birth, recovering from a clinical experience that left you feeling unseen, or simply looking for care that sees you as a whole person…you're in the right place.

What Makes The Catching House Different

At The Catching House, you’re not just “another patient on the schedule.” You’re a whole human stepping into one of the most transformational seasons of your life…and I treat it that way.

Relationship-first model of care

You’ll see me, not a rotating staff.

Shared decision-making

You’re in the driver’s seat, with education and support to back you up.

Clinical training meets intuitive care

Expert care that’s both evidence-based and deeply personal.

I’m a mom of seveN

I’ve been in the stirrups and in the trenches. I get it.

Access to a trusted team

Lactation, massage, chiropractic, and birth-ed are all part of your circle.

This isn’t “birth as usual.”

It’s birth as it should be

Safe, sacred, and centered on you.

After working together, my clients often say they feel:

Empowered — like they finally got to lead their own birth story

Confident — with tools, education, and support for labor and life after

Held — emotionally and spiritually, not just physically

Connected — to their baby, their partner, their body, and their provider

Known — as a person, not just a chart

FAQs

  • Yes! I provide support for home births in Spokane and within an hour radius. If you’re outside that area, reach out—I may still be able to support you or connect you with someone great.

  • Yes, in some cases. While I primarily attend out-of-hospital births, I also support families planning hospital births who want midwifery care during pregnancy and postpartum. Let’s chat about what you need.

  • The sooner the better. Ideally in your first trimester to ensure space on the calendar. But if you’re later in pregnancy and ready to make a change, reach out anyway. If I can help, I will.

  • Midwifery care is an investment in your whole experience. I don’t bill insurance directly, but you can use HSA/FSA funds and I provide superbills for reimbursement where applicable.

We’ll laugh, we’ll cry (well, I might), and most importantly, we’ll walk this journey together.
